For years I have been watching ABC nightly news |
|
I liked their straight forward stories from around the world, especially when I thought that NBC and CBS were too much of "touchy feeling" kinda stories of "human interest."
But recently ABC seems to have stories about faith and religion and Friday's program finally caused me to switch to the welcome relief of Dan Rather. I will miss him. But if CBS will replace him with Katie Couric - as rumored - they might as well close down shop. Whatever it will be, serious news it won't.

2. Corporate media has not been 'serious' for quite some time. |

Unfortunately you should start getting in the habit of switching off your TV now.

I find most news on the Internet, anyway and when I do watch TV for programs that I like - there will always be the "news at 10 (Central Time) ad. And, of course, we do get two dailies delivered.

3. I used to watch ABC news exclusively... |

Until the 2004 election... I felt they were 'right' biased. So I went to CBS... I will miss Dan Rather..
