Google news on Dean - Gay issue is lead story...
...sure, there are 955 related stories about Dean's appointment to the DNC chair, but what's the LEAD story with the HEADLINE and ONLY text?

"Rebel Dean inspires gays in Florida"

"With a rebel now heading the Democratic Party, Florida's gay Democrats vowed Saturday to be puppets of their party no longer and to bring social issues to the front of their party's concerns."

Considering that 50% of the voters are Republicans, let me tell you the message this SELECTED EMPHASIS sends, "if you thought the Democrats were socially radical BEFORE, they're going on the DEEP end now, and that the Gay issue is their #1 priority..."

Hey, I'm all for civil marriages, or whatever you want to call them, but I don't like the idea of the emphasis being on this gay thing, when it's NOT on the top of our agenda, while it IS on the top of this list of 955 headlines...

2. Of course, they are purposely going to torpedo Dean from the start.
They are going to try their whoring best to marginalize Dean until he is a walking joke. I can't tell you how many times I have seen "The Scream" in the past few days.

The sad thing is that the majority of the country wouldn't have thought anything of that clip if they would have just seen it on TV with no commentary. The whores unending lambasting of it and him are what made it the scandal.

3. Here's the actual link:
http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/local/florida/orl-asecflgays13021305feb13,0,465766.story?coll=sfla-news-florida

Anyone know about the political leanings of the Sun-Sentinel newspaper?

And LOL @ someone getting riled up about whats on Google News -- you know that human beings don't actually decide what the #1 story is, right? It's bound to change very soon, anyway.

4. It's a distraction from Social Security, IMO
They are really pushing the anti-gay thing here in Florida now, trying to get an anti-marriage referendum petition if I remember right.

Last year Mel Martinez actually used the fact that a Republican rival had supported hate crime legislation against him. Even the Bushes were apparently embarrassed by it or claimed to be.

I think this all will eventually backfire on them. They will become known as the hate party, and no one will feel safe from them. The whole thing has such a pathological feel to it. Who will be next?
