The ABC note says the GOP anti-Dem mantra is that our message is neither one of hope, growth, and opportunity (or, even, of opportunity, responsibility, and community) - and then follows with a McCain motherhood comment that folks will listen to you based on what you have done for country but "they only will vote for you on the basis of what they believe you WILL do for the country."
I have a hard time remembering specifics of GOP folks beyond no new taxes and tax cuts - I suggest the above is a way the ABCnote is trying to deflect the fact of the influence of media control and right wing bias - heck - 45% or more of the country still believes we have a liberal media, that WMD have been found, and that Iraq did 911 thanks to the nightly news, talk radio, and print media story selection.
By the way I thought all these were the same: a "push poll," an advocacy call, and a telephone survey meant to test which negative messages will work". So how are they different?
