Suzanne Fields, (WaTimes) syndicated columnist, her historical "trifecta"
On today's CSPAN-2 televised coverage of a conservative conference for a small group of journalist interns, Ms Fields outlines her history of journalism:

Jews, Southerners and Irish.

the quotes are literal quotes from the broadcast

The Jews got into journalism because they (her on air finger quotes here) "Wanted to do good."

The Southerners got into journalism because they "liked to tell stories".

The Irish got into journalism because they "liked the free booze".


It was a little strange....

Ah what the hell can we really expect from these clowns other than this idiot shorthand. They hate to use their brains - it hurts too much.

3. Yeah, Pretty much OTT rhetoric. It was a small thing (~15 audience), but
watching it on CSPAN made me stop and think, This is what they are promoting. Hence this post...
