As AAR air america radio
goes up,

bush goes down.

Union LOCAL in anchorage alaska, bought a station and put AAR on.
{IBEW electrical workers}

get other LOCALS to do it in your town!

add AAR to your will.

get a free YahooGroups forum to network with others in your town to then urge AAR to come to your town.\

urge AFLCIO and DNC to give grants to AAR for expansion. Both need AAR desperately. Both "have no voice".

Odd. Both should have been on every US radio since 1920.
Odd. Any child could have told them that. A child can see that. You dont operate a political party without it owning its own mass media. Basic fact.

2. it's a nice thought
but 'progressive talk' is still relatively small potatoes.

Bush's popularity is down on account of his own doing.

3. 67? I've read that the top right-wing hosts have thousands.
Why does the right have more stations, I hear you ask? Because the people who run those stations are conservative and therefore won't host AAR unless they're 100% positive they can make a profit. That's why AAR is pretty much limited to certain stations in liberal cities.

I think that some people listen to a lot of AAR and read political writings mostly from people who also listen to it and therefore reach
the conclusion that it's more powerful than it actually is. Nearly all the anti-Bush people I know didn't know shit about AAR until I told them. Yet all of them know who Rush Limbaugh is. Something to consider.

Bush's problems are his own doing. Frankly, things would be no different if left-wing radio was still almost nonexistent.

4. Dear Georgia:AAR in Dallas:conclus'n fm poll, not my thinking:ur antiBush
people, "that I know", may be antibush from a ripple effect - chatting with folks who DO listen to AAR and who relay the dem facts to your buddies second hand.
Another ripple could be local news MSM ... the owner picks up some story idea from AAR and does his own parallel story.. eg on the homeless.
========================
Or, you may just live in an area without AAR, so of course few of your friends would have heard of AAR.

As to your conclusion, "things no diff if LW radio nonexistent", -- that idea flowed from your earlier statements, which i have cordially disproven. Well, as best as i can, amigo. LOL

PS to expand on my title,

1. AAR no longer limited to the north cities.. Dallas, San Antonio, Alberqueque and another NM city, { San Diego IIRC,} Florida, Anchorage {a very conservative state if you guys did not know}, New orleans, Colorado, and i think South carolina. The spread takes time -- Hate Radio took years to build too.

REPEAT == DALLAS

2.as to "listeners tend to overblow the influence of AAR because fans read each other's writings"... my claim in the OP was not based on my general impressions, but on bush's abyssal poll of 41%. Very objective.

3. Hate Radio has 12OO in its basic chain, because it has had a 17 year head start.. and more money. But we are at least half the people, by voting, so we are able to match the RW , given some catch-up time.

thanks for giving my logic a workout! blessings to you, Georgia, as you listen to AAR.

5. disagree: bush did lots wrong 3 years ago, and polls stayed hi due to MSM
not being contradicted by AAR.

bush continues to do wrong today, but AAR exists.. so now bush drops in polls

Remember, one drop of truth negates an ocean of lies.

you can hear a lie a million times, then the truth once. That one time makes your brain say "hmmm. that makes sense with what i see. I'm going to remember THAT". Then all the million repeats of the lie are washed out of the brain.

That is how our still-small AAR is dropping bush in the polls.

6. First off,
Yes, I do live in an area without AAR. Too many areas lack it or have
it on too small an amount of stations to be ignored. Yeah, the fact that AAR is new is a factor, but the fact remains that it's limited number of stations make it extremely unlikely that AAR is affecting Bush's numbers too much.

And it is mostly liberal cities that AAR is broadcast in. Yes, it's in red states two, yet in that case, it's still in left-leaning cities (like Atlanta, for instance) within right-leaning states. This
is probably not true in every case, but those deviations are the exception, not the rule.

As for Bush's numbers themselves, they were healthy for a long time because of 9/11 and Iraq. Don't blame the media every time opinion trends aren't going the rational way. Bush enjoyed an 82% approval rating in the final months of '01. By '03, they were locked in the 60s and 50s. So it seems to me that it was more like his 9/11 boost faded than people being informed by AAR that Bush had lied to them. If AAR is so powerful, why isn't John Kerry president. Even if you think the election was stolen, it logically shouldn't have been close
enough to steal if AAR had such influence. Plus, the fact that Bush was viewed by most as the more honest and trustworthy candidate (not that I believed that, I'm just pointing something out).
