OFFICIAL DEATH TOLL
As of 9/14/05

Alabama -- 2
Florida -- 14
Georgia -- 2
Louisiana -- 474
Mississippi -- 218
Total -- 710

One possible reason for low death counts to date:

According to the Washington Post:
The reason the number is so low is that the state only counts bodies that have been recovered and positively identified .

3. I saw the Bush FEMA protection of property "don't break in to save life"
I could not believe it - then I could not believe the self-imposed by the RW editors media gag order about it-

then I could not believe the Not controlled by the GOP-we just act like it media not reporting the body count.

Just like Irag.

When Bush pulls together Iraq, 911, and Katrinia tonight, I wonder if any in the media will note the body count Bush rules vary by PR need(when he needed WTC dead to make it the worst disaster for PR purposes it was 7000 to 10,000 rather than the final real number of 2800).

I do love our media.

8. I wish them good luck, but if Bush wants a lower total of the dead, he
will get it from the media and those gov officials that want to keep their jobs.
