Alex Bennett and Lynn Samuels?

WTF are they thinking?

Bennett is like warmed over, middle-of-the-road, mashed potatoes and Samuels is like screeching cat nails down a chalkboard.
I cannot believe this is the best that they can put on the air, for these time slots.

sometimes I think that she's putting on a music show so she doesn't have to talk. When she does talk it nothing but bitching with some profanity thrown in for affect....You're right, I bought sirius for Stern and thought I'd get good left talk to boot, but the only good talk I've heard is "Young Turks"

The rest of them suck, especially Alex Bennett, if you are providing a host the opportunity to be curse like on HBO, then goddamnit get someone on there with real convictions and have THEM cuss.

Especially on Samuels. WTF were they thinking putting her in that time slot. I really enjoy the replay of the Stephanie Miller show on at 9ET. She, and her crew, are really good IMO.

I will switch to XM once my contract is up.

6. I have been

writing and calling Sirius to complain that their lineup on 143 could be improved greatly by hiring some actual TALENT to fill the station. Frankly I wouldn't care if they dropped their original programming (Except for Young Turks)altogether and replace Lynn and Alex with Stephanie Miller and Thom Hartmann. That would be a vast improvement over the uninformed rantings of Bennet and the absolute chalk-nail factor you talked about with Lynn.

If we keep bugging them to expand/improve their lineup, maybe something will get done. I've got a subscription until Christmas, I'm gonna give 'em a chance 'til then, after that, i'm getting XM.

I am so glad to know I'm not the only person who cannot stand those two!
Alex Bennett is always trashing everyone on the left, with the inference that HE knows more, is right about whatever, and on and on. He's always trashing Cindy Sheehan, he was talking last week about what a failure the march was going to be and what everyone should do - He drives me right off the edge of the planet!
Lynn Samuels would be boring if her voice was normal. She doesn't have anything to say, she's not interesting. Her voice, though, doesn't bore you, it tortures you!
I like Bill Press and Christie Harvey, he's an actual newsman and she's smart and interesting. I like Thom Hartmann, I like Stephanie Miller OK. I can take Ed Shultz. I LOVE the Turks.
All that said, I'd rather have my AAR. I miss my AAR. I'm really annoyed that I spent hundreds of dollars (I have 2 car docks, 2 home docks, and a boom box) JUST TO GET AAR, which I now don't have. Sirius pissed me off on this. I listened to it everywhere, now I treat it like a car radio - that's the only time I turn it on. My husband listens to his more, but he listens to more music, I listen to more talk.

Left Talk on Sirius is pathetic.

I AM TIRED OF TAKING SURVEYS SENT BY SIRIUS......I think I will finally give up the ship and bail out in the next month.
