Anybody just see the ABC special on health care?

An excellent report! Makes the insurance companies out to be the villians that they are, and I like that. Apparently, it's a week long report.

1. Well think about what there business is...profit from the sick.

That's what they do. Insurance companies are an unnecessary and expensive bridge patients and doctors. (I understand they are necessary in our current model, but they are nothing but a middle man for all intents and purposes).

I intend to watch the series as my husband and I lack health insurance at this time. When we did have insurance, a little over a year ago, it was costing us about $500 through my husband's job. No one will insure him now because he takes a steroid for asthma. Something has to give!
