I think CBS might give in to the perceived public "outrage" and delete some scenes from the final cut. Unfortunately, this "outrage" is manufactured by Freepers and their ilk, who blast their targets with e-mails and phone calls, making the network think that the public is disgusted with them, and causing them to pull the movie out of fear for their profit margin.
DON'T PUT UP WITH THIS SHIT!! Fight back and contact the people listed above! It's the only way to stop these organized intimidation tactics that Freepers have become so good at. Remember the Dixie Chicks anyone??
