Angelina Jolie's WP opinion piece
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/02/27/AR2008022702217.html?hpid=opinionsbox1

I don't know, what do you guys think of this crap? I know we have SOME obligation to the shit we pulled over, but what's with this crap about "the soldiers want to stay" and other stuff. I get her point, but I get this nagging sensation that she's a closet wingnut!

1. LMAO.
Angelina Jolie spoke with General Petraeus and hand-selected troops, so I'm sure she got a clear picture of what is happening.

2. As a citizen she has the right to voice her opinion even if I don't agree.
I just read her opinion piece and found it to be rather short sighted and naive but well intentioned. She's spoken with those who have a vested interest in keeping our forces in Iraq and has swallowed their talking points. I'm sure she even chatted with a few hand-picked soldiers who would tell her what those in charge wanted her to hear but she didn't hear from the millions of Iraqis who understand that the greatest obstacle to their futures is U.S. forces acting as a lightning rod for attacks.

6. She's more concerned with the people in Iraq and refugees than
anything else.
