3. What year did they first buy a table for this yukfest?
Or have they been at this thing from it's inception?

4. Or, facing financial trouble and looming layoffs, the NYT decided not to spend
the money on a glam-fest and save enough to cover at least one job this year.

8. Pals? I was thinking more of a customer/prostitute relationship, or
perhaps an abused/abuser relationship - where the reporter must have access to those who make the news, but they have to do a painful little dance for it.

9. Since when did the NYT get religion on this??
Or is this just window dressing, and the paper fully intends to continue editorially to be a propaganda organ of the White House?
