CBS Evening News with Katie Couric Wins Murrow Award for Best Newscast

In the just announced Edward R. Murrow awards, the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric has won Best Newscast. CBS News won four awards in total, bested by ABC News which won six, including one for Overall Excellence. NBC News won one.

CBS News also took home an award for best Website, while ABC News won for spot news coverage of the Minneapolis bridge collapse.

He's the token liberal of one of the largest companies in the military-industrial complex. He's the guy who's there to make you believe that GE is "fair and balanced" and that they are willing to offer a "liberal" viewpoint. This doesn't make him wrong, it just makes him the house n****r for the war business. He knows this even if you don't.

I like Keith Olbermann, but I would never actually watch his show. I'll catch youtube clips, but I'm not going to give his advertisers my eyeballs.

This is the same newscast that led with Tiger Wood's bum knee on a day when there was international coverage questioning our run-up to the war.
