1. Fox who?
I try in all ways to avoid their products because of Faux News and 24. They may as well be the Ministry of Truth.

5. Bill-O talks about "vile liberal hate speakers" like Daily Kos, yet he has Rove on there
Edited on Wed Jul-09-08 03:54 PM by ryanmuegge
You know, the mastermind behind McCain "the fag's candidate" and McCain the father of an illegitimate black baby.

And good lord, was Dick Morris jilted by Hillary when he tried to come onto her or something? He has such a personal axe to grind that it overshadows the substance of everything he says.

Yeah, that guy.

4. It's very comical. Although MSNBC has been funnier lately.
Those tabloid reporters on there just take themselves SO seriously while they talk about nothing. They're the journalistic equivalent of cotton candy, yet they're so obviously deluded that you can tell they think they're the elite in their field and doing the lord's work. Get a load of that "why we cover it" (which, ironically enough, focuses on all of the things they DON'T cover) for an indication of their delusional self-importance. Hilarious stuff.

6. I only watch when forced to.
And usually the volume is off.

Nothing pisses me off more than spending 30 minutes on a treadmill at the gym, and the tv in front of it is locked on Faux.

7. I got sick of that too.
So I changed it. No one has ever objected.

At the gym I go to now, there's an old fossil who looks a lot like McSame. He uses the gym's remote to change 4 tv's at once to Fox "News". One of my tv's at home is Sony like all of theirs, so I keep that remote in my gym bag. I use it to change them all to something worthwhile like National Geographic channel, food channel, History channel or Animal Planet.

Pawn shops sell remotes for $1. I have several different brands in my gym bag, for when I travel. If I'm there, Fox "News" is NOT on the tv.

8. when I was at the treadmill of a hotel
Edited on Thu Jul-10-08 12:15 PM by Skittles
it was very early in the morning and I was the only one there, using the treadmill - a guy came and was lifting weights - he asked me, "Are you watching that TV?" I said no, not really, so he asked if he could change the channel.....I told him yes, to ANYTHING but Fox News. He laughed and said NO PROBLEM THERE SWEETHEART!!! LOL.

9. Non-partisan
I think it's important to keep up on the news from a multitude of angles. That's why I watch both liberal and conservative news sources. Weird to see this subject though because I just told a conservative friend about my favorite podcast which is a progressive talk radio show and he was like "why would I want to listen to that" but then listened to an episode and actually found it interesting. I think it's possible to hear through bias to the actual meat of an issue.

10. No problem...
I have no problem watching Fox News, except for "Hannity and Colmes." I think of it as opposition research. However, I absolutely cannot listen to Rush Limbaugh; his voice actually hurts my ears.
