Andrea Mitchell was positively *beaming* this morning reporting about Jesse Jackson

The TV was left on NBC (not by me) and the lead THE LEAD STORY was Jess Jackson's hot-mic comments

Andrea Mitchell looked like she was 8 years old on Christmas morning and finished the lead-in with "...who accepted the apology but something that is not going away any time soon"

The funny part is that later on Chuck Todd was on saying that "oddly" this will help Obama-with working class whites.

They think they have another one to knock him down but in the real world no one believes them anyway and his FISA vote actually COULD be used towards their goal of instilling the image of a fractured Dem party but they aren't smart enough to sieze on that.

I loved Obama's response...a couple of paragraphs worth of position statement with the acceptance of JJ's apology ("of course") at the end.

...how many confused rw and semi-rw are there in America this morning, saying 'Damn, Jesse Jackson doesn't like this black guy Obama. Maybe Obama ain't against the white race after all."

Jesse Jackson is pissed at Obama, so it's safe for white America to vote for him. If, on the off chance it was all staged, I love the fact that they used FAUX as a conduit to their little plot...:rofl:

It is playing out like a classic military deception operation. If the Obama camp indeed had the subtlety to prep Jessie for this "unguarded" moment at Fox News, the stumbling Republicans are in for a major electoral whipping this fall.

Yup, it is especially satisfying to observe that FAUX NOISE served as the credulous outlet for this political diversionary operation.

The resulting publicity only helps Obama. Very well done.

During the few minutes of Scarborough's show that I saw, everyone seemed to be praising Obama--even Pat. And when Andrea was relatively complimentary of Obama, Willy just grinned and nodded. It was Twilight Zoney.
