What's up with Scarborough?
He used to play at being a mean asshole. But you could sense the underlying humor in him (I'm not intending to make him out to be a saint, but he had a softness to his faux 'sternness').

In the last few weeks, he seems to have turned genuinely mean.

And as he's turned mean, Mika Brzezinski has become an obsequious doormat.

What's up with all this?

1. LOL, you got that right. Cannot believe how dumb she seems to be. As far

as Scarborough, just be patient, he is like a snake, probably coiled up and ready to strike at the right moment. Just sizing up his prey. As far as Mika, have got to where cannot take her anymore as much as it is hard to swallow Scarborough's obnoxious, biased performance on his show. She does her hee, hee, hee giggle, is always it seems trying to find the negative in Barack anymore. Her interviews are terrible, will ask a question and never follow-up when the republicans lie or are wrong. The show is getting worse. I watch because of certain guests being on but find myself more on CNN; actually, CNN International is my favorite. CNN appears to be better than MSNBC other than Keith and Rachael.

2. He's freaking out..
So are the rest of the racist, bigoted Republicans, who are coming to the realization that our next President will not only be a Democrat, but African-American. It reminds me of Eddie Murphy in the first 48 hours, when he walks into the redneck bar and the place goes silent, as Eddie says" I'm your worst fucking nightmare, I'm a ni--er with a badge". That GOP feels just like those rednecks in the bar, totally freaked out by Eddie Murphy and unable to do a thing about it. "The are runnin' skeered."

The Republicans are totally freaked out by the prospect of Obama becoming President. The racist, biggoted remarks will only get worse. They can no longer contain themselves

4. Yeah, and the good thing is they I think have come to realize that there is nothing
they can do about it. They have tried with people such as Chuck Todd in his slanted view he will give of the McCain & Obama candidacies. They have tried such as Scarborough in all of their biased reporting but the public sees it as they see it and it is Barack that seems hopefully to be America's choice. Even the Bush Administration has stepped in the muddle trying to prevent him from speaking at the Brandenburg gate in Germany. I think they have realized they cannot stop him because the people have seen how wonderful the republicans have been.

Go Barack.

3. Sick children, maybe?
One child with autism, one with juvenile diabetes, and a newborn who nearly died a few weeks ago. His first marriage disintegrated over the stress, and number two may or may not be doing well.

I don't keep up with Joe to any great degree, and I don't agree with him on nearly anything, but I do know that he's had a lot less of a pampered road than most Republicans have had. He's also one of the few Conservatives out there who isn't a complete scumbag (e.g., supported Lori Berenson, votes with Dems on environmental issues, has been in favor of better governmental support for medical research, has criticized Bush to a greater degree than most cons, etc.). If anyone turns anything up, do post it.

By the way, the Klausutis issue will no longer work for Democrats who run against Joe. Look up "Joe Scarborough Lori Klausutis Katherine Harris". Happy reading. Makes Joe look good and Katherine Harris look like Katherine Harris.

5. Joe Scarborough is not a "nice person"
He worked 24/7 to get Clinton removed for a B.J..

He was a big help to W in the 2000 election theft in Florida.

A 27 year old women who ran marathons wound up dead in his office for some unknown reason ....
his wife divorced him shortly afterwards.

And just this morning he called Val Plame a "Desk Jockey" even though Plame risked her life being
a secret agent trying to stop real WMDs from getting into the wrong hands. But that did not stop
Joe from repeating the right wing lie about Plame. I watched him for all of 30 seconds.

how to interview, great skills, knows how to twist, spin everything which makes him much more dangerous than someone like Mika on that show who has no skills. I think he is more dangerous than a Hannity because he is so much smarter than him. Not an entertainer like Limbaugh though.

I am really disappointed in the show because I really did think that he would keep the show non-biased. I thought he might end up having the best political news show on because I really think he could. However, I was wrong as he could not keep his hard nosed right-wing ideology separate from anything and ended up just being his obnoxious self.

Also, the Valerie Plumn thing. It doesn't matter if you are republican or democrat, conservative or liberal, you should be outraged about what occurred there. I cannot see if they want to talk about patrotism, how they are very patrotic when they are supportive of outing one of our CIA agents by the White House.

9. The outing of Plame was treason
I have family who works for the govt. in secret kinda of stuff .... he told me that all
people might work w/ C.I.A. have to sign a form that says if you out an agent you
get 10 years in a Fed. Pen .... also without a doubt people died as a result of the
outing of Plame ... all her contacts and other agents were exposed too ..... Dictators,
the Russian Mob, and arm smugglers don't screw around.

BTW both bush & Cheney hired criminal attorneys to defend themselves after the
outing of Plame. Scarborough knows the true story but is playing his "role."
You know she (Val Plame) was really a secret agent.

10. Absolutely, I will never understand how the American people either did not
pay any attention to this or our society has dumbed down so much, they don't understand. Also, the Dems letting this get away from them. It has and is totally unbelievable to me.

7. i love some of the 'joe is okay at heart' type bullshit i'm reading...
joe is exactly what he likes to proclaim..."a panhandle cracker"....and if you knew/know anything about florida 'natural-born' residents, you would know and understand where joe comes from...the raw, gator-dwelling, swamprat interior that is non-coastal florida...

he might be smart, be he is gleefully mean...and that mean demeanor permeates the show...

a mean spirit has a debilitating effect on the environment and all it encompasses...

joe isn't some 'nice guy' that is passionate about his beliefs...he delights in excoriating anyone he encounters who he can disagree with, usually after joe is shown to be ill-or-misinformed...

joe likes to portray himself as very, very smart, yet a 'non-intellectual'...

i would tend to agree with him on that last point...
