Mighty Wurlitzer working overtime: Iraqi mass graves

This was on the front page of the (Columbia SC) State newspaper yesterday:

Scientists utilize high-tech methods to seek evidence of Saddam’s atrocities

I'm not so much interested in the text, which is very much more of the same (mass killings of Kurds when Reagan/Bush were propping up Saddam, and of Shiites when Bush I promised them support if they would revolt, then pulled the rug out) but rather whether this was on everybody's Sunday front page or if we're just lucky 'cause we're a red state. Can folks check your Sunday paper's headlines and reply?

Anyway, I was disappointed to see the AP pandering to the Bushistas this way, but not what you would call surprised.

Precisely because the report was so biased, mostly in what it omitted. It was a rather shameful performance on the part of the AP, in my opinion.

Hell, I could see it running in section K or something, but the top half of the front page on Sunday? Not a good day for either The State or (as you say) the AP.
