More RW radio nuttyness ... on lowering the drinking age
Okay, here's the preface ...

The other day, the debate was about allowing a casino in Ohio. The afternoon guy was saying that "they're going to do it anyway, why not do it in Ohio?" was not a good reason to allow a casino. He was going on and on about how that isn't a good "moral reason" for allowing a casino. (He also went on and on about how the priests were against gambling, the lottery, etc., - when he said that not every church has bingo, I need to show him the free "bingo" book at the local grocery store. Nearly every bingo game is at a St. whatever church ...)

So, this morning, the question on the mind of the radio guy is - "Should Ohio lower the drinking age to 18?" Arguments were that the "underage" drinkers were "legal" in every other view of the law, and - get this - "they're going to do it anyway!"

So, Clear Channel (of course) has said, "Gambling bad because they're going to do it anyway, underage drinking okay because they're going to do it anyway ..."

3. Your point?
Arguments were that the "underage" drinkers were "legal" in every other view of the law, and - get this - "they're going to do it anyway!"

I think i missed your point. This is one of the top arguments for lowering the drinking age.
