Does anyone know if there appears to be a sponsor boycott

by large corporations that usually advertise on talk radio against liberal talk radio stations? For instance in Santa Barbara, the progressive station was the most popular, but didn't get anything like commensurate ad revenue so Clear Channel sold it to someone else who passed it on to a college that is turning it into an NPR affiliate.

1. I was wondering the same thing ...
I know that the big advertisers have snubbed the leftie radios which in part explains for the lack of commercial success of AAR.

It would take some serious organizing to get this done, though.

Just like in corporatist economice strategies, they're willing to cut off their noses to spite their faces. I'd say that this story should be more widely disseminated, but that might just encourage more corps. to sign on.

The only one I can't boycott is Microsoft, for obvious reasons. But I won't buy anything from them that is not included w/my computer, such as Microsoft Office. Home Depot and Nestle (I like Nestle's Quik for cooking) will be difficult, but I'll manage. Think I'll post this in general discussion even though it's old news for people like me who didn't hear about it at the time, but would want to boycott them back.

5. IIRC in 2006 evidence of an orchestrated boycott vs. AirAmericaRadio was found.
I don't know if lawsuits ensued, but since that time they've gotten a lot more advertising.
