McClatchy takes down most important debunk of the economic crisis?

Don't know if all of you saw it, but this article by McClatchy totally debunked the effort by conservatives to blame Fannie/Freddie and the CRA for the economic meltdown "Private sector loans, not Fannie or Freddie, triggered crisis". If you try to go to the link at the McClatchy site, it's been taken down. What's up with that? Is that a typical thing for newspapers to do?

The McClatchy link isn't working at all and no other seems to have been provided.

I'm sure it's just and oversight. Hopefully they fix it because that was great reporting and that information must remain available.

5. I e-mailed the author, he's going to look into it. I think

it's important that that kind of reporting stay up at the original site so it can be referenced for future use. Linking to snips at other blogs doesn't have quite the firepower of the original source, particularly when you're arguing with those crazy libertarians!
