Is MSNBC alienated its base now?

During a luncheon of television writers and executives -- in the Beverly Hills Hotel, of all places! -- some prominent liberals took shots at MSNBC and Keith Olbermann.

"The cable news channel is "completely out of control," said writer-producer Linda Bloodworth-Thomason, a self-proclaimed liberal Democrat. She added that she would prefer a lunch date with right-leaning Fox News star Sean Hannity over left-leaning MSNBC star Keith Olbermann.

Wow, all I can say is I'm shocked.

All these so-called liberal democrats shunning MSNBC and Keith Olbermann of all people, are as liberal as I'm right-wing.

I don't take their self-proclaimed political preference as valid unless their actions back them up and so far Milady Linda Bloodworth-Thompson's self-proclaimed title doesn't comport with her actions so to me, she's NO Democrat, liberal or otherwise.

What did she promise them? What is their agenda since it's not Democratic?

Linda go have lunch with Hannity, maybe he will choke on a bone. I like Keith Olbermann. He speaks for a lot of liberals out here in TV land that have no voice. I enjoy tuning into MSNBC to get my news from Matthews, Olbermann and Rachel. They tell it like it is. If you don't like it change the channel to another channel. But leave our Liberal talking heads alone. We have been in the wilderness for 8 yrs.
