UK Member of Parliament George Galloway has a show that is
broadcast from the UK's "Talk Sport" radio, on Friday
and on Saturday from 5pm to 8pm U.S. Eastern Time.

Galloway if you recall, came to the US and appeared at a Congressional
hearing in which he upbraided the US for its invasion and occupation
of Iraq.

I think you will find his live radio show to be compelling and
energetic---he speaks to issues in the US, Europe and the UK, and
is not mainstream in his beliefs and commentary. We need him here
in the US. He will be touring on a US speaking tour staring March 2009.

I will try to listen. It might be better to listen to him more frequently to get a sense of whom he really is.

3. Agree with you

George is a very aware of the US scene, but he doesn't focus on it 100%
for his three hours each Fri/Sat. He does have US political commentators
that add to the program, and he supports Obama--for now. You will get
a sense too of how things are in the UK---lots of commentary about
immigrants in the UK, and local issues. But you get an idea of
how we here in the US might hope for a Congressman or Senator to
think and act. You can expect him to watch Obama like a hawk and to
comment on what happens after Jan 20.
