That's right. I don't need to hear what the other side is thinking anymore. I am done with their smear campaign, their hate campaign. I know they won't notice. But regardless, others should join me. Now when I surf through the channels, Fox News will not pop up!!!

THEY DON'T EXIST!!!

It feels good.

27. I plan to quit tv when everything goes digital in Feb.2009
I think it's cool that there are people who don't watch that crap. It's not essential and actually prevents us from doing other beneficial activities.

30. I do have a TV and love watching Fox Noise,
It's funnier than an episode of Will & Grace, gosh darn it.

Sean Hannity's America sure ain't my America ! President Obama's administration will not, I repeat NOT cause THE COAL INDUSTRY to go bankrupt. After they blow the mountain tops off, polluting our air, water, land, home, heritage getting every dime and dollar they can, leaving a third world Appalachia looking more like Darfur than Dubai and the THE COAL INDUSTRY files for bankruptcy so no one will be held responsible for the toxic mess left in their wake. http://www.wisecountyissues.com

15. exactly... why pay for all that garbage and noise?
When I want to watch something, I watch a movie or a documentary, sans commercials. Not only is it more enjoyable without the interruptions, but get the time back you would otherwise lose to commercials.

A one-hour show is actually 45 minutes long, which means you lose 15 minutes an hour to garbage. No thanks.

and it's not 0000 or 1234 to unlock it, so I get the blocked message and the option to enter in the code. I hit the next channel button

20. Yes, 24 hours of reality show repeats ...
and since I don't "do" reality shows, and a Fox channel, it was a good excuse to block it.

6. I went one farther:
Almost 10 years ago, I deleted Cable TV from my home. We have Comcast around here, and the prices were rising to levels that I just could not justify. I have never missed it.

On the other hand, in the times I have watched some TV, like my recent hospital stay, I turned it off after a short bit.

My question is: how do you guys stand watching that shit? It is abysmal out there.

21. It's madness, Skits.
Wall to wall drivel. Frustrating drivel as well. I would watch something and lay there wondering "Where's the payoff? Where's the brains? Where's the captivation of my interest?"

There was none. It was like watching...less than nothing.

I would have killed for old episodes of "Modern Farmer" by the end.

but I seem to watch only Jon Stewart and Turner Classic Movies. :)

The mainstream shit people watch is pure garbage.

23. I got rid of cable in 1996
Only have a TeeVee to watch DVDs. The only time I miss it is during severe weather when I used to watch for updates (tornadoes and such). But the radio does a good job substituting.

8. I blocked FNC using the remote after my Billo-loving brother-in-law turned it on when
he was visiting. No one living under this roof would ever make such a mistake, so I didn't think it needed to be blocked. Lesson learned...it won't happen again. :-)

24. I don't have to delete it.
I just never tune to it. CNN on rare occasions and MSNBC for KO & Rachel and of course Stewart & Colbert but never FOX for anything. Although I admit on election night I was tempted just to see all the sad faces.
