This morning, I heard a "Fox News" report on the radio - Caroline Kennedy withdrew herself from consideration for the NY Senate seat. According to the report, it "was done to avoid the embarasment of the Governor of New York choosing someone else over her."
However, according to another different station, the New York Post said that Caroline Kennedy's withdrawal, in essence, threw a wrench in the plans of the governor ...

and on yet another station (this time, a lefty broadcast), the "New York Post" is reporting that Kennedy pulled out after she learned that the NY governor wasn't going to appoint her.
