Is there something WE can DO?...I feel this is an emergency and that we, as a progressive community, should be doing something to counteract this.

seems, still get their news (and views) from television....Obama's popularity ratings are down about SEVENTEEN points in only three weeks -- from something like 80 percent to only 63 percent -- There support for his Stimulus package is only at FIFTY TWO percent...Barely half.

That's a huge, whopping drop for only three weeks, and I can't think of a reason OTHER than the corporate media marching in true lockstep against it.

31. XM Radio

just joined this site and am still learning to use it. We lost progressive talk in San Diego some time back and rely on XM radio to hear progressive talk radio. I don't know what is going on with XM lately but we seem to have lost most weekend programming. They go on "hiatus" and when they do air programs it's all repeats. They used to have a great weekend lineup and now it's terrible. Calls to XM about their programming brings no results. Does anyone know what is going on?
