2. Given all that this administration has done...

... to us and for its friends, the press has enough ammunition to hammer them all day, every day. And yet, even when there's bad news, it very quickly submerges.

The press in this country is like a yokel at his first state fair--every gewgaw, every bright light, every carnie's pitch is enticing. And this administration has, oh so many gewgaws and bright lights, and pitchmen.

4. Can you imagine if....

Clinton was President and had done all the things that Bush has done (i.e., lying us into war, outing a CIA agent, etc...)? The media would not be covering any other story except how to best get Clinton out of office. We would be in the middle of a constitutional crisis right now, impeachment hearings all over the place, special prosecutors popping up everywhere, and a 24 hour a day bashing of clinton by the so-called "liberal" media for lying us into war, outing a CIA agent, not getting Bin Laden, running up the deficits, etc...Instead Bush gets a free ride and the Michael Jackson case is the big news of the day EVERYDAY!

5. That's one of the reasons I started this poll.

I was thinking- again- last night how quickly the cries for impeachment would have come if it were Clinton or Gore in the WH today.

The bashing of Clinton was NOT irrational, but rather very carefully timed and executed calculated smear. See, Clinton was an interruption in the Thug plan to take over the world by military and economic tyranny, and nothing less than that. If it continues- if Bush does NOT get voted out next year- we'll have international blowback in spades.

And I bet the 'librul mediuh' will still refuse to criticize him.

I know the media isn't turning against him, but with the few crumb of stories that have come out in the past couple weeks, well, I was starting to hope.

6. Hey....

If the media is not going to hold Bush accountable for outing a CIA agent they sure as hell are not going to hold him accountable for anything! Man, Bush could shoot his mom point blank on video and the media would give him a free pass. There is no getting around it. Bush has the media, congress, and the supreme court. We are screwed!
