Norman Goldman to replace Ron Reagan over WCPT AM/FM

Last week, we sent our VIP’ s an e-mail, explaining that Air America had suspended its programming. We also spoke of our continued commitment to Progressive Talk radio. Yesterday, we learned that Ron Reagan, who’s program had been distributed through Air America, decided to discontinue his show. The good news is that our search for a replacement for Ron Reagan did not last very long. Fortunately, Norm Goldman, better known as “NorMan GoldMan”, has just started his own daily program during the same hours as Ron Reagan’ s show. So, we are very happy to announce that effective immediately, Norm Goldman will be hosting a new daily program on WCPT-AM/FM from 5 pm – 8 pm.

"Many of you already know Norm Goldman as Ed Schultz’s “go to” guy, hosting Ed’s show when he has a day off. Norm has quite a background. His logical side comes from his background as an attorney, but his emotional side comes from his work in radio and in his support for Progressive causes. This is a rare combination that makes Norm Goldman both a rational radio host and a passionate proponent of the things most important to WCPT listeners. We are very fortunate to have “NorMan GoldMan” as the newest member of Chicago’s Progressive Talk’s team of air personalities.
