Boehner demands

On Jan. 29, John Boehner said he presented the GOP proposals for health-care reform.

In truth, he held a gun to the heads of 40 million uninsured hostages and gave President Obama his demands. If the president does not agree to every single demand as stated, the Republicans will have no compunction about pulling the trigger.

Of course, no mention of the fact by the "righties" about the fact that it takes 60 votes to get damn near anything done in the Senate ... that doesn't fit into their rhetoric ... Democrats didn't filibuster damn near everything under Bush, that's why Repugs got all that shit done to this country ...

I just wish the ABJ printed more letters like yours and fewer of the long-winded, poorly written messes of right-wing talking points.

I did get a LTTE published in the ABJ several months ago where I addressed the obstructionism of the Rethuglicans and their abuse of the filibuster. I got several comments posted about the evil Democrats and how they filibustered "all those judges," so I shouldn't complain.

I sometimes think we are purposely dense.
