Taliban invites journalists to see real situation in Afghanistan

The Taliban invited journalists to the southern Afghan town of Marjah to see the "shameful defeat" of Afghan and international forces during a massive military anti-Taliban operation.

In an email, the Taliban invited journalists to "see the situation with their own eyes and convey the facts to the public of the world," as Western journalists tend to give a one-sided picture of the situation in Afghanistan.

NATO and Afghan forces have been carrying out Operation Mushtarak, the biggest anti-Taliban operation in the country since 2001, and reports have described it as moderately successful.

They really should avoid these people and their propaganda. The Taliban is notorious for kidnapping, demanding ransom and ultimately beheading their enemies.
