Anyone see this? A winger in my office sent me this link. I can't imagine these companies already know that their Healthcare costs for their employees will/are going up already. Sounds like Bullshit. Any ideas...? I'd love to ram it down his throat, but "it's bullshit" is all I have at this time, as it's too early for any of these companies to truly know...isn't it?

I'd be more likely to believe that struggling small businesses will use any excuse to chisel money out of their employees and wouldn't put it past them trying to lie about that to a. make people mad at the government b. use it an excuse for why they are going out of business or have to lay off individuals they were already going to lay off.

Caterpillar was crying from the get go because early in the bailout, there was "protectionist" talk of taxing foreign steel, and CAT didn't think that was fair, as they wanted to buy cheap steal from China. I bet these firms are members of the US Chamber as well...I'd have to check.
