On local NBC affiliate here,at 7PM on Saturday night.I don't actually watch Entertainment Tonight but noticed this freaky military "news" show was on instead. What in the holy hell is going on?

Defense News is a global newsweekly on politics, business and technology of defense. Defense News serves an audience of senior military, government and industry decision-makers throughout the world. <1>

Defense News is published by the Defense News Media Group, a unit of the Army Times Publishing Company, which is a part of Gannett Company.<2>

Defense News and Washington D.C. CBS affiliate WUSA 9 created a weekly TV program called "This Week in Defense News with Vago Muradian," which first aired on March 2, 2008. The show centers on international defense and military issues and is hosted by Muradian, the Defense News editor.<3>

"Serves an audience of senior military, government and industry decision-makers throughout the world"? I did not know there were so many senior military, government and industry decision-makers watching the TV here in Craptown on a Saturday evening.

The Army put out a magazine for the servicemen in WWII,called Yank, with pinup girls in it .

Must've been good as a soldier in WWII , to get your weekly Yank.

I guess the military always knew how to use the media.

Here's a Yank picture of Marilyn Monroe:
