Fox and Murdoch have always been a mess of contradictions
But this article in today's NY Post, coming one week after Beck's religious be-in, takes it to a new level:

http://www.nypost.com/p/entertainment/crazy_sexy_pool_VNhgvaaiofXdqJ0DgosJHK

"In fact, she takes a dip almost every time she visits. She and her friends invariably decide after a few drinks that a nice soak — usually sans shirts — is just the thing.

“No one really cares if we’re naked,” she says. “I’m there with people I’ve known for a really long time. We’re all friends.

“No one has sex in there,” she adds, indignantly. “That would be ridiculous. You would think things would get more dramatic than they actually do.”

“Then again,” adds another guest, “who knows what happens under the bubbles?”

Le Bain opened in late June and has since surpassed the Beatrice Inn and Jane Hotel as the place to be for artsy types and fashionistas, most of which include beautiful girls who look a tad too young to be out past midnight, and of course, the men who want to meet them."

This is in the entertainment section of the Post. It is intended to be a serious news expose or review. Just an ode to the "sexy capitalism" of Gotham.

Everything is acceptable as long as you are a "master of the universe".

Note there is a wink wink nod nod to something which could involve a serious crime.

Note in addition the World Trade Center, the proposed mosque, and these clubs are all on the lower West Side of Manhattan.

Are these the values of Murdoch's Tea Party America, or just its NY branch?

1. Murdoch says he is a very 'moral conservative'
but he made a fortune out of "Page 3" topless and nude girls in his UK The Sun newspaper when sometimes the girls were only 15 or 16.

Murdoch objected at first when he saw the pages but relented when he saw the increased circulation figures...the Page 3 girls ran for a decade until 2003 when the legal age for teens to pose topless was raised to 18.

Now these pics come under the banner of child pornography. So Murdoch the great moraliser was an active producer of child porn until the law was changed.

If you had collected the clippings of the Page 3 girls (under 18 years old) and were now discovered to have them you would be charged with possessing child porn. Would the producer and publisher of that child porn be charged as well ?

3. Moral Conservative? How would he explain Charles Leaf
One of his reporters, Charles Leaf, was arrested for sexual assault of a 4 year old girl.

See attached story link:

Includes his mug shot.

2. mainstream media
The mainstream media is built to lie. This article totally destroys their credibility: http://howmanyknow.com/2010/09/your-media-not-mine/
