When Brian challenges Limbaugh in the show, Limbaugh is portrayed as a reasonable, gentlemanly guy with a different opinion. The few times I have actually heard Limbaugh challenged in real life he gets very easily flustered and starts throwing temper tantrums. Unlike Liberal talk show hosts, he doesn't let leftists call in because he can't handle them. I also didn't like how they reduced Brians' political beliefs to simply being against whoever is in power at the time. That was disappointing.
The final nail in the coffin was when the two had a mock fight at the end and end up going their separate ways but deep down knowing they're still friends. I just have to say FUCK THAT. I'm tired of TV making light of the divisions in this country. There is deep resentment and rightfully so. The Republicans fucked over a lot people, and the show makes light of it and tries to say that, "We're all Americans" in the end.
Weak attempt on Family Guy's part. It trivialized the real and deep issues that people have against people like Limbaugh.
