The problem I have with Keith, Rachel, Larry, Ed, Chris, etc...

They spend a huge chunk of their airtime either poking at Republicans, commenting on FAUX, and/or AM talk radio hosts.

Don't get me wrong, I am thankful they are on the air and we need more like them but...I wish they would have more of their show devoted to thoughtful Left/Progressive/Liberal guest interviews.
Have some Green Party guests on for instance.
Have Jim Hightower, Thom Hartmann, Robert Parry, heck I'd like to see Noam Chomsky on the TV, to name a few.

I understand the nature of "ratings" and how our two party system is but I will continue to hope for a radio and TV media that is truly "fair and balanced".

When voters don't understand the critical importance of demand to the investment of capital into jobs/production. After 30 years of hearing tax-cuts, cut deficits, etc, Americans have become uneducated. The average working class American can't explain why it's important for a government to borrow against future revenue to stop a depression cycle.

I would like to see a lot more background information given about stories.

With regard to world affairs stories, for example, what is the foreign press reporting? What is really the background for stories? It would be good if MSNBC did some in depth interviews of experts, say university professors, on the topics they are discussing. They do some of this, but could do a lot more to educate their viewers. The newscasters on MSNBC have lively personalities and could make an interview with the most pedantic professor quite exciting.

Right now, Fox is the only "news" channel I watch, solely because I enjoy throwing things at my television when Glen Beck is on (my target was Bill O'Reiley in college, but he's been replaced by this even more-retarded nutbag). He's the reason I downloaded the book by the Coming Insurrection. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be able to keep up on the latest in anti-Right-wing literature:)

8. Thom Hartmann makes bad TV

He is in constant self marketing mode in a way that does not play well on camera. I'd also avoid any of the 'dollar is doomed' gold hawkers, that is alright on radio if a person is really hard up, but that is not cool for TV news programming.

These left voices are strong, and their audiences are appreciative.

But there needs to be something to balance Fox Propaganda which is creating a true dream world fabricated from lies, propped up by undocumented money sources.
