There is an old saying in the Italian community, keep your friends close and your enemies closer. I have been checking out Bush's reelection website.
Lookie what I found,
http://www.georgewbush.com/Economy/WriteNewspapers.aspx?AgendaID=2 It locates the newspapers close to you based on your ZIP Code and then all you have to do is point and click to write your letter of support (no dangerous thinking required). It might be interesting to see if some of the following phrases come up in local letters to the Editor (Warning: Viewer Discretion is Advised, cause this is some serious crap):
"President Bush should be commended for his strong leadership on the economy. He has taken bold action to create lasting economic growth"
"The President’s economic growth agenda creates jobs. His economic plan is focused on job creation and helps working families with immediate tax relief. Promoting investment is another critical component in the President’s agenda. Reducing the overall tax burden on small business and eliminating the unfair double tax on dividends spurs investment by individuals and businesses, enabling much needed capital investment and spurring job creation."
Anyway you get the idea, there are also tabs on calling talk radio, but I would think they are just preaching to the choir on that one. Now you know, and if you see one of these fake letters, why not use the Bush page to write a response? I'm just thinking out loud here.
