5. Initially, it was kinda interesting.

Then it kinda turned into a pretty crappy site due to lax editorial standards ("Do Vaccines Cause Ring Around the Collar and Toe Fungus?" - An exclusive interview with noted scientist, Jenny McCarthy.)

And their comment moderators were damn near incompetent.

We have a number of great news sources -- TPM, Raw Story, and websites including DU that draw from a number of sources. Buzzflash comes to mind. Truthout. There are so many really good ones.

I refuse to go to Huffington Post again. What a sell-out. I would at the very least appreciate a credible explanation from Arianna Huffington. Was her model not working? Did it fail? What happened? Why succumb?

Is Arianna Huffington that desperate for money?

12. I've drifted away....the general writer's strike and sellout to AOL has pretty much killed my

interest. Kind of a shame, because I really like the layout and the way they use visual content to engage my interest. I really don't know why other, more progressive sites don't utilize this same kind of approach to aggregating news content.
