1. I'm glad Sharpton got a slot, but sorry to see Cenk go. It's
all about the ratings. How do you feel about it, mikeburetta?

5. cenk
Used to subscribe to "ramparts" years ago and when they went out of biz my subscription was shifted to "7 days" magazine and there first editorial said it all in a nutshell, "we are biased and we admit it". If media is fed by corporate profits what else can the bottom line be. Major media doesn't want to admit it but by shear economics its biased so even if rating do end up going in rite direction still ya cant stick your finger in the eye of those that pay. Seven days sadly went out of biz too but while it was around stories of the revolution in portugal where workers took over factories were reported on something you didn't see in main line media at all. Wishing Cenk the best and as he said "it was a nice ride while it lasted" and "enjoyed all the perks".

3. Gotta tell you something. I don't have a tv so didn't watch Cenk on MSNBC except for the videos
Edited on Thu Jul-21-11 01:53 AM by peacetalksforall
that were recommended and many of the the TYT videos. I think I have seen more videos that I ever would have if I had had a tv.

So, I'm not going anywhere - I'm going to follow him more than ever because he is a treasure and there ain't no suits and ties fantasizing about how they want him to perform to keep the right wing happy.

So - Cenk left with great ratings and loyal fans and what I've always said still holds true - DO NOT TRUST MSNBC. Do NOT trust MSNBC/NBC/GE.

We've got our Cenk. Maybe he is getting a lot less money - but nearly everyone who matters now knows who he is and that he had the guts to say NO!

And I love the idea that those worms at FOX can't change those statistics.

Cenk - just keep on being our friend and mouthpiece. Love ya!!!!!

And I get to allow myself to believe that they were scared.
