Why is Rachel Maddow giving so little attention to Occupy Wall Street?
I'm kind of shocked about how little coverage her show is giving to the Wall Street protests, and their kin in over a thousand cities and towns around the country.

It seems that this kind of development would be right down her alley. But she doesn't seem to care very much about it.

I'm not saying that she hasn't mentioned it. She has. But it hasn't played any major role in her broadcast.

Does anyone know why? It would help to have her on board in a major way.

Keith Olbermann has been devoting the bulk of his show lately to OWS, but he has far fewer viewers, currently, because of the outlet he has.

It also seems to me that the content of TRMS has generally softened recently. Maybe I'm imagining things, but it seems that she just doesn't do the devastating exposes of groups like "The Family," anymore. Her show seems more general, more nebulous now.

Maybe it is a coincidence, but her show seemed to lose its edge about the time that Comcast took controlling interest in NBC. Around the same time that it was reported that she got a "huge" pay raise, up from the $2 million she was already, reportedly, making.

I still watch her most every night, but Rachel's show just doesn't seem as good to me as it was not long ago.

And why oh why is she mostly ignoring what could be the biggest protest movement since the sixties?

1. Joe Scab has veto power over what guests appear on Rachel's show....
...that should explain it to you. If not, consider that GE owns MSNBC.
