The Passion of Gay Marriages
I've had enough of both!

Here's the media's real problem, ignoring the important stuff for pop culture stuff. Jobs, Education, Health Care. People before Corporations.

3. you are welcome
today my boss was arguing that gay marriage rights are unimportant because if we have bush in office for 4 more years Roe V. Wade will be repealed...now tell me if a heterosexual woman cannot support my right to marry why should i support her right to get an abortion?

now i stand firmly behind Kerry...but i am politely askin heterosexuals to not piss us off any more than necessary!

4. Wow - I can't believe your boss said that
That's a pretty crappy thing to say, to put it mildly. Sure I obviously care (A LOT) about reproductive rights, but the right for gay people to marry is a HUGE freaking issue and extremely important. We are seeing history being made here, folks!

5. Not a trivial matter
Bush's proposal for the first amendment to take away or preclude rights is hardly "pop culture."

6. Jobs, Education, Health Care. People before Corporations.
Jobs: Do you mean like anti discrimination policies? Then you support gay rights! I'm glad to hear it!

Education: Like complete and comprehensive sex ed in schools, the removal of blatently discriminatory (mostly) christian propoganda from Schools? I knew that's what you meant. I'm so glad you support gay rights!

Health Care: You mean like survivor benifits and vistation and decision making power? I thought so.

People before Corporations: Sure, like making corps pay for health care for everyone, even gay couples who legaly marry?

OK, I get it! That was sarcasm!

Damn, your funny!
