Can a seven month media war be sustained? Will the public tolerate it?
The campaign is off and running months before either convention, which had previously marked the starting point of the election race. Even this starting point lengthened the contest which at one time didn't really kick off until Labor Day.

I expect to soon be seeing as many Bush/Kerry commercials as I do drug ads.

While this'll be great business for the media, I'm afraid one ramification might be a disgusted public that tunes out before the summer is over.

After all, how many times can people watch he says vs. he says? Political junkies may love it but TV viewers will not.

1. Kerry doesn't have the money to compete on an equal level.
Most people will see a lot more Bush ads than Kerry ads.

2. With the Bush negative on slaught, 150 million to 8 million
and counting, many people will auto-click these ads when they come on. Plus it seems most people tune this stuff out anyway and have already decided who they will vote for. All that money is being spent to get the votes of the 8% of voters undecided.

3. Media wars
:hurts: To the world of Bush it's all money, all of the time, and yes money is the big game hunter when it comes to just about everything, but, the money game is going to turn on the Loser in Our White House because the people are going to turn out in record numbers to get Bush out of DC because he has taken to many painful shits on them. The tv and radio are two mediums that send lots of stuff our way to ponder over and take out what we wish and digest what we want. The people know the shit Bush has taken on us. The people hear and take in all the negatives. They remember them more than anyhthing positive. It's just like this. How many positives vs negatives can you come up with about yourself ? I bet the negs out weigh the positives, so many people try to change. It's the same everywhere in life. The people see and know the Bush persona laid out is all BS and they want to change it ! Thereby come Nov, if we do get to vote, Bush will be taking his last hard shit on us all. His stinky ass will be off the shitter in DC because we want to get the negative out of there. Comprende ?

4. How do people choose who they vote for?
Funny -- I just realized that I don't have a clue as to how people (even my friends and family) decide who they vote for. I know how I decide (and no television ad or debate has ever been a factor). Is it even a rational process that can be mapped out? All that advertising money and for what?
