Will tonights 6 o'clock cover all 3 hotels attacked today+dead TV persons
Baghdad's Mount Lebanon hotel on Wednesday, today Basra's Mirbad Hotel plus Baghdad's Burj al-Hayat hotel and Rimal hotel - plus Arab TV folk dead - shot by US - and at Baquba we lose 3 of our TV stations employees - killed by unknowns (we do not talk about the 8 US military wounded by mortars today because they aren't dead - and Poland saying it was deceived and will pull out after the first of the year from Iraq will not make it past the editor).

So the 6 o'clock News will be dump on Kerry/pro-Bush how tonight? Always a joy watching the evening news - I can barely wait for Liza Myers and NBC's Thursday report..

Ten People Killed in Iraq, Baghdad Hotels Hit
By Fiona O'Brien

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Ten people were killed in fresh violence in Iraq and two Baghdad hotels were damaged in attacks on Thursday, two days before the first anniversary of the start of the U.S.-led war to oust Saddam Hussein.

U.S. troops at a checkpoint shot dead an Iraqi working for Dubai-based Arab satellite television channel Al Arabiya and wounded another as they drove through central Baghdad, Al Arabiya colleagues said. <snip>

The British military in Basra said four Iraqis were killed in an explosion outside the southern city's Mirbad Hotel (used for news briefings by the British military) . A child was one of at least two people wounded, witnesses said.

Three employees of a U.S.-funded television station were shot dead at Baquba, northeast of Baghdad, and two Iraqis, including a child, were killed in fighting between guerrillas and U.S. troops in another restive town, Falluja. <snip>

U.S. soldiers at the scene said there did not appear to be any serious injuries in the attacks on the Burj al-Hayat and Rimal hotels in central Baghdad, used by foreign contractors, business people and media organizations. <snip>
