JFK conspiracy
Richard Nixon was in Dallas on the morning JFK was killed.

So was former President George H.W. Bush who, despite his denials, was working for the CIA during this period.

1. There was a Discovery Channel documentary on this
that was absolutely mind-blowing, saying the there was a huge conspiracy perpetrated by the Republicans and government agencies, and that LBJ was apparently in on it.

Fucking Texas.

10. He apparently then awarded contracts to KRB in Texas.
The inference was that he was aware of the plan.

13. Right. All he did was get himself sworn in ASAP, and then create the...
...Warren Commission to cover their tracks.

5. Has anybody read Don DeLillo's LIBRA? It is a terrific read about --
-- Lee Harvey Oswald and the lead-up to the Nov. 22nd assassination in Texas.

Jump on the web and order a copy -- the used copies are usually numerous -- and you'll be amazed at how insightful DeLillo is on the political times of that era.

I don't think Nixon had anything to do with killing Kennedy. But I don't believe Oswald was the lone assassin.

8. It means that you donate to DU - you consider it worth $5 a year.
Not much to ask for almost 500 posts. Where do your values lie?

PS - not a DU 'admin' type of person.... I've had 2 deleted posts in the last month.

12. I'll keep it in mind
I've only been here a month. It's probably worth it in the end, since this is an important site. I don't like to feel like I was bullied into doing something though, so I'll wait a few days at least.

15. Yes Nixon WAS here on Nov. 21st, and left the next morning...
....the strange thing is, in newspaper accounts after the asassination, Nixon denied that he was even IN Dallas. He was here to appear at an auto show. I have also seen some pretty convincing evidence that Bush was here also, but nothing definitive.

I DO believe that one of the "hobos" was E. Howard Hunt, CIA employee, and future Nixon operative and convicted felon. I have NEVER seen anything that was even close to convincing that it wasn't him. Looks like him very much, and with his future history to come from that point....impossible to ignor.

And a conspiracy is the ONLY answer when you discount Arlen Specter's Magic Bullet Theory, on how to explain that THREE shots did all the damage in the car AND hit the curb in front of James Teague, down next to the overpass, and cut his cheek with a ricocheted piece of concrete! That would take FOUR shots, which is impossible with a Mannlicher-Carcano bolt action rifle in the time alotted!

I have studied this for nearly 30 years, and believe almost nothing in the Warren Report.

16. One of the hobos looks like Charles Harrelson
Woody's dad, currently serving time for killing a Federal Judge. Also, I heard something about GHWB's phone # being in George DeMorenshildt's (spelling?) phone book. Lots of questions still to be answered.

Okay guys, LBJ killed him with the help of the CIA and FBI. Complete governmental conspiracy against the President of the United States. Soooooooo. If the next President is a democrat, and they want us out of iraq, watch, like Vietnam, he will be killed too.
