NEW YORK Univeral Press Syndicate writer Ann Coulter says in her current column that she's "anti-murder." This prompted the MediaMatters.org watchdog group to list six past Coulter statements in which she "jokingly" advocated killings.
One of the six was this December 2005 column quote: "I think the government should be spying on all Arabs, engaging in torture as a televised spectator sport, dropping daisy cutters wantonly throughout the Middle East, and sending liberals to Guantanamo." Another was Coulter's 2002 statement: "We should invade
countries, kill their leaders, and convert them to Christianity."
A quote MediaMatters.org didn't mention was Coulter's January 2006 "quip" about needing "somebody to put rat poisoning in Justice Stevens' creme brulee." <snip>
