CIA scandal tidbit I somehow missed

Was just reading this NYT article on Foggo when I came across this:

The man Mr. Goss first selected to become the C.I.A.'s executive director, Michael V. Kostiw, had to turn down the job when it surfaced in the news media that he had resigned from the agency in the 1980's after being caught shoplifting bacon.

Shoplifting bacon?! :rofl:

I know it's hard to keep up with all the Republican scandals these days but does anyone remember hearing about this?
