Here are links to two parts from the Human Experiment (Milgram - Zimbardo) documentary about torture and the average guy. The powerful thing to note is that this type of response to these conditions is the NORM rather then the EXCEPTION. The sole responsibility for putting these soldiers in that position rests entrirely with those in charge of creating an envrionment in which this could take place. NOT ONE OF THOSE MOTHER FUCKERS WILL PAY THE PRICE... NOT ONE! Instead the grunts will get the fucking.
Unless Americans get involved, learn fuckin' something about what's happening, demand more out of the sick fucks who run for office, we are in for a world of hurt.

What is happening in those prisons and in those pictures is an allegory for what is happening within the White House right now. The prisoners are The Constitution, The Bill of Rights, the foundations of what made America great and the soldiers are YOU and ME and every citizen that doesn't take the personal initiative to say FUCK YOU, I'M NOT GONNA DO IT!
The environment that enables this torture is the result of the enabling media and an administration that has nothing short of contempt for the 'values' that they shill to get themselves "elected".
It's not good kiddies. It's bad, it's very fuckin' bad. America is rotting from the inside out. Mark my words.
The reason behind it all: G R E E D, pure and simple.
