Few in the media talk about this, and they should. It is a real danger to us and the world when our commander in chief is such liar he treats his own party neo con propaganda as truth. Just recently he continued to link Saddam and 9-11. Even after the rest of the world has learned the two had nothing to do with each other, he coninues to defend pre-emptive war, which by Internaional Law is illegal.

He really needs to go before anything worse than Iraq happens.

How can any sane, rational and logical person, regardless of party affiliation, continue to support the presidents policys when confronted with the truth??? Who are these 39% who support him? When will they wake up from the kool aid? Isn't starting a war based on false pretenses just about the worst sort of crime? Will the world ever trust us again???

How can even die hard Republicans, Christians especially, support him??? I just don't get it. The delusional myth of vanquishing an enemy and "winning" in Iraq needs to change. We are not modern day Romans, who would bring home their trophies in a victory parade. America should do what is right, and quit talking about "winning". How many more crimes would it take to win???

I am truly, truly surprized more people in the military don't just revolt and desert their units after the way Rumsfeld and the neo-con chickenhawks have treated them.

Thank you Robert Parry and COnsortium News!

1. 39% are either ignorant, brain-dead, or ideologically brainwashed or some
combination thereof and maybe also hate us for our freedoms. :)

2. THE WAR PRESIDENT
Bush sees himself as a Modern Day Moses. He IS delusional and the people around him lie and tell him what he wats to hear. A good example is the results of the election. Fat Boy Rove had him believing the GOP was going to hold both houses of congress. He was shocked when the Dems won Congress.

He will justify a troop increase Iraq by saying the "soldier on the ground" feels it would help even when the majority of his military advisors and Generals disagree. We are to listen to this man, a draft dodging weekend soldier who given a free pass by his dad over the Iraq Study Group and the Joint Chiefs. He is desperate to be remembered by something other than "THE WAR PRESIDENT."
