Bush's Decider-ism

I think that Bush is drastically underestimating this newest crop of Democrats. We all know that he acts like a petulant child when shown even the least amount of resistance to what he wants, but he is really taking this god complex of his to a new level. While every president looks out for his legacy at this point in his term, Bush seems determined to cement his as the worst president in US history, never to be eclipsed.

On the plus side for democrats in congress, with every new lunatic phrase he utters, more Republicans concerned for their reelection in 2008 cross the aisle and stand against him. He's really created a situation that would be impossible to back down from -- a veritable triple-dog-dare.

He's challenging those who disagree, and thumbing his nose at the separation of powers the US government is founded on, while laboring under the misapprehension that he wields unfathomable and unlimited power over the US and all her resources, including the entire military.

It is the duty of this congress to stand up to him and show him what they're made of.

where opposing him is concerned. No doubt they are all still afraid of receiving an anthrax Mail-O-Gram. The Ultimate "Or Else" and the FBI is still no closer to "cracking the case". I guess it's true that you just can't get good help these days, eh?

3. January 3-30. The days the Dems had a chance at changing anything

he was doing! He is so damn stubborn that they are going to have to force him into doing anything. This kind of problem has never been faced before: not even nixon and raygun thought he were God. The congress is working on the issues but they are not God either so it may take them a month or so.

4. I agree.

He's in denial that his clout is crumbling.
At the same time, many Democrats are being cautious, as too much abuse has taught them to be wary. Many Democrats are pussyfooting around like cats who have been in a cage too long, and haven't realized the cage door is open.

5. Bush is a two-faced liar.

Bush said he's going to work with congress. Then he says "I'm the decision maker". So, Bush isn't working with anyone. Bush is now trying to get a "line item veto" power so he can veto anything he decides on. Then Bush just got the power to on federal regulations. Bush lies a lot and he's giving people even more reason to think Christianity is a hateful, warmongering religion. If anyone really reads their Bible they can see Bush isn't Biblical, he's a hypcorite. The middle class is worse off today than it was in year 2000. Bush has helped the upper middle-class and rich people the most.

6. Christianity in government

Not to inflame Christians, as I consider myself one most of the time, but I think most of those Religious Right supporters are hypocrites. I've read the Bible, yet I'm not a hateful bastard. I don't understand how people can be so "devout," yet can see their way clear to be complete hate mongers. I spent a good portion of my teen years as an avid student of the bible, and found myself wondering how people can so misinterpret this book in order to fit their own hatreds and fears. Bush, the head zealot himself, has given more voice to the “crazy Christians” than any other president in my lifetime.

And I swear if I have to listen to one person “explain” to me that “God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve,” I’m going to scream…but that’s a story for another time.
