You point our that everything that Michael Moore said in Fahrenheit 9/11 came true. The response?

"He's filled his movies with hundreds of inaccuracies".

You reply: "Well isn't the war an obvious FAILURE? Hasn't Bush's administration become the worst nightmare for the cxountry in modern history? Is a 29% approval rating a sign of "leadership and American influence abroad? Was Michael Moore the cause of the Iraq catastrophe"?

"You're just a hate filled Liberal"

Response:

"Is Ann Coulter a Liberal? How many countries has Ted Kennedy recommended we Nuke. Which should we forcibly convert to Christianity"?

"Coulter is on the best seller list"

Response: Because the right wing corporatists buy all of her books to make her stats go higher"

"Your mother is a commie pinko call girl"

And so on...

2. There was some priceless Freeper prevaricating recently

After excoriating Mitt Romney for once giving a $150 donation to Planned Parenthood, the Fred-Thompson-enthralled Freepers argued desperately that Fred should be given a pass for lobbying on behalf of a pro-abortion group. The fact that he lied to try and conceal it wasn't even an issue. Even a handful of "zero-tolerance" pro-lifers couldn't shame the crowd into sticking with the values they harp on day in, day out.

I think this goes beyond mere hypocrisy and borders on some kind of mental illness.

They may argue some details or that he has a certain position, but as far as I can tell he has the right position on many issues.

too many people lose their power of logic when dealing with folks they keep getting told are the devil incarnate.
