Schlafly Chides McCain Camp for Palin Cancellation

ABC News' Teddy Davis Reports: Conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly is taking the McCain campaign to task for notifying her at the last-minute that Sarah Palin will be a no-show on Tuesday when the Republican National Coalition for Life holds an event honoring the Alaska governor.

... "They only told me this at 10 o'clock last night and it was a call from somebody down-the-line in the McCain campaign."

"The pro-lifers who paid $95 to come to this event because of Sarah Palin are going to be very unhappy," she added.

Schlafly is expecting 800 people ...

a Day of tolerance at the local high school was a bad thing, some nut from her group called and said they couldn't make for the debate, they did however show to protest.

There was a group of us pissed off parents in my city that didn't take too kindly to them.

An interesting symmetry regarding Sarah Palin and the the now current Bush staffers including Bush is that they are all strongly connected to the oil industry... Does this country want more oil fat cat cronies in the White House?
