It just seems like they are the biggest losers on the block. OK, OK, they deserve all they're getting but it might be worth some effort to see just how they sank so far so fast.

15. No pity

The Republican party left me. As soon as Ron Paul got criticized by his own party for speaking out against non-interventionism, I knew the GOP has become a lost cause. I tried libertarianism for a little bit, but I really didn't like the extremes the LP took. So, I started looking at liberal economic & social policy and now I'm proud to say I agree with them fully.

My voter registration card still says Republican though, so I haven't given the GOP my 2 weeks notice yet. ;)

It is a shame I think that elements of a party that try to wrap themselves so much in being Chrisitans...dismiss some of the strongest elements of Christian faith...the environment, helping the poor, etc.
