Without yesterday's run on the Dow, the stock market was only 100 points above the watershed 8,235 Dow close during the week of September 17, 2001. Without bargain hunters hitting the market yesterday, the 300 point drop seen earlier in the day would have closed the mark below this watershed mark.

Makes me wonder how his approval ratings have remained in two digits.
